The parts that actually fail
Our accessories range covers coils, batteries, chargers and spares from SMOK, Aspire, Innokin, Vaporesso, Voopoo and Uwell, mostly between £5.95 and £12.95. Almost every "my vape has stopped working" message we get is one of three things, and only one of them is a broken device.
The first is a spent coil. The second is a charging cable that has developed an intermittent break at the strain point. The third is a pod that is not seated fully, usually because a little condensation has built up on the contacts. All three are a few pounds to fix.
Coils are a consumable, not a spare part
A mesh coil is designed to be replaced. How often depends far more on what you put through it than on how much you vape. Sweetened juice leaves caramelised sucralose on the mesh, and once that layer builds the coil tastes muted and faintly burnt regardless of how much liquid is left in the tank.
Dessert, cola and blue-raspberry profiles will kill a coil in a fraction of the time a fruit or menthol profile takes. If those are your regular flavours, buy coils in multipacks and treat them as a running cost rather than an emergency purchase.
Charging, sensibly
Every current kit we sell charges over USB-C. Keep a second cable somewhere other than home, because the failure mode is almost never the device. Avoid charging unattended overnight, and stop using any battery whose wrap is torn: a damaged wrap on a loose cell is the one genuine safety risk in normal vaping. Keeping a device usable
Wipe the pod contacts every few days with a dry tissue. Condensation collects there and causes the exact symptoms people read as a dead battery. If a kit lives in a pocket with keys, a textured or rubberised finish will survive it far better than gloss or a pale colourway, which shows scuffs within a fortnight and picks up dye from denim.
