Cherry divides into two entirely different flavours. Dark cherry is deep and slightly bitter with an almond note underneath; the confectionery kind is bright, sweet and unmistakably artificial. Elux leans towards the second, and the ice over it is doing structural work rather than decorative — a confectionery cherry has almost no acidity of its own, so cooling is the only thing preventing the sweetness from coating the palate within a day.

Nic salts are formulated as a 50/50 PG/VG blend for a reason.
