Cola is not a fruit — the character comes from citrus oils, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla over a slightly bitter, faintly medicinal base, which makes it one of the more technically demanding flavours to reproduce. SKE keeps the bitterness, which is what separates a cola that reads as the drink from one that reads as sweet brown liquid.
